The store has been in operation since 1925. It was originally owned by 3 different generations of the Durkee family. In 2003 it was then purchased by Kevin & Kim Cross.
The main floor of Durkee’s features ladies, men’s, and junior fashions for all occasions. We also have a great selection of purses, jewelry, footwear and accessories.
We are known for our great selection of formal wear. We have dresses for all ages to look your best on that special day. Also, we have suits in all sizes to outfit a whole wedding party if required.
The lower level has fabric, notions, giftware and children’s clothing. There is also a clearance section with many great buys.

We are open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. We are closed on holidays.
We offer a 14 day fully refunded return with the original receipt returned and the return item in the original condition. An item may be returned between 15 to 30 days after the purchase for an in store credit. After 30 days everything is non-refundable. Formal Wear is credit only.
